Stop Fine-Tuning. Start Prompting. (Mostly.)
The expensive retrain is the move you reach for too early.
Teams jump to fine-tuning when a few well-chosen examples in the prompt would do.
I've shipped features with nothing but a couple of few-shot examples and a clear instruction, no training run.
Fine-tuning earns its cost when you need a consistent voice at huge volume or private behavior.
Below that line, it's a tax you pay for a problem prompting already solved.
Start with the prompt. Graduate to the retrain only when it actually fails.
