Surfer tells you what to write. Bing tells you what's true.

Surfer scores your draft against the top results for a keyword and tells you which terms are missing. It is a compass for search visibility, not a source of truth.

Bing AI (Copilot) answers questions with citations pulled from the live web. It is closer to research than to optimization, and it will happily summarize something factually wrong if the web is wrong.

I use Bing to gather what the consensus says, then Surfer to shape the piece so the right readers find it. Skipping either step shows in the result.

Verdict: find the facts -> Bing. shape the page -> Surfer.
