Canva vs Kickresume: I Picked the Wrong One First

I opened Kickresume because a friend sent a link, and kept using it by accident. The task was ordinary: something a person does twice a week and hates.

Canva's edge is simple: templates for everything from a tweet graphic to a 40-page deck, and the Magic tools fill gaps

Kickresume, by contrast, builds a clean resume from a few inputs and scores it against real job posts

I'll say this Canva — templates for everything from a tweet graphic to a 40-page deck, and the Magic tools fill gaps. If you live in that workflow, keep Canva. But if the daily grind is your real bottleneck, Kickresume is the calmer pick.

The honest part: fine control fights you; it wants you to stay inside its template rails. the ATS score is a guess, and the 'good' examples all read the same. I'd still keep both installed; they fight different battles.
