Runway Quietly Outdoes Cursor at the Task I Do Daily

Deadline at midnight and I just wanted the thing done. I came to Cursor because edits across the whole repo when you describe the change in plain words. That part delivered.

Neither is clean. Cursor sometimes rewrites a file you told it not to touch. Runway credits drain on the upscales you didn't mean to do. You feel both within a day.

My call: if your work is 'refactors and boilerplate in an existing codebase', Cursor wins and I'd stop looking. Runway fits 'fixing and extending footage' better, and I'd hand it the repetitive jobs. I use both, but Cursor gets the serious sessions.

It bought me an evening back, and that's the whole point.
