I Kept Otter and Quietly Dropped Grammarly

I don't read landing pages, so when both Otter and Grammarly swore they were the answer I ran them on the same job instead.

Otter tags speakers so a panel recording stays legible. Honestly, syncs a live caption you can search later

Grammarly takes the other lane: rewrites a cold email into something a human would actually reply to. works in the browser so it follows you across every text box

Neither is clean, though. Otter the free minutes run out fast. And Grammarly the tone suggestions push everything toward the same corporate voice.

Pick Otter if you're someone who consumes long audio and wants it searchable. Pick Grammarly if you're a non-native or rushed writer who wants a second pass before send. I landed on Otter for daily use and kept Grammarly for the one thing it does that the other can't.

Last Tuesday I had twenty minutes and a real deadline. Otter shipped it; Grammarly gave me three options and a caveat. That's the whole difference.
