Grammarly Fixed My Typos. Teal Fixed My Resume. Don't Confuse the Two.

Grammarly is background noise in a good way. It catches the passive voice and the repeated 'very' and the comma I always get wrong. On resume lines it's useful for the writing, but it has no idea a bullet should start with a verb or hit a metric.

Teal is built around the job search: it scores your resume against a posting, suggests the exact keywords the parser wants, and tracks every application. Its writing help is narrower but pointed at the outcome that matters, which is getting the interview.

I wasted a Saturday running Grammarly suggestions over a resume that Teal's matcher said was 40% off the target role. Polished and irrelevant. The fix was Teal's keyword gaps, not Grammarly's commas.

Verdict: Grammarly for how it sounds, Teal for whether it lands. Use Grammarly on the cover email, Teal on the document that decides the call.
