Kickresume vs Synthesia: I Picked the Wrong One First

If a tool saves me one dumb task, it earns its subscription. The task was ordinary: something a person does twice a week and hates.

Kickresume's edge is simple: builds a clean resume from a few inputs and scores it against real job posts

Synthesia, by contrast, spins up a presenter video from text with a stock avatar, no camera

The workflow I landed on Synthesia — spins up a presenter video from text with a stock avatar, no camera. If you live in that workflow, keep Synthesia. But if the daily grind is your real bottleneck, Kickresume is the calmer pick.

The honest part: the avatars read as corporate, and custom talent costs real money. the ATS score is a guess, and the 'good' examples all read the same. I'd still keep both installed; they fight different battles.
