After a Week on Both, Notion AI Won and Teal Lost

I wanted a source-backed answer, not a vibe, so I pitted Notion AI against Teal where the difference actually shows.

Notion AI summarizes a messy page into the three bullets you needed. What surprised me was lives inside the docs you already keep, no new app

Teal takes the other lane: tracks every application in one board instead of a spreadsheet. tailors a resume per role without starting over

The cracks show fast. Teal the free version gates the best insights, while Notion AI big databases make it slow and occasionally wrong.

Here's who should actually pick which.

Pick Notion AI if you're a team already on Notion who wants the notes to organize themselves. Pick Teal if you're an active job hunter managing more than five openings. I landed on Notion AI for daily use and kept Teal for the one thing it does that the other can't.

Last Tuesday I had twenty minutes and a real deadline. Notion AI shipped it; Teal gave me three options and a caveat. That's the whole difference.
