Replit Let Me Ship Without Setting Up a Dev Environment, and That's Underrated

For a solo builder, environment setup is pure tax. Replit eats it: code, run, deploy, done. The agent scaffolds faster than I'd configure a project by hand.
It's not perfect. Big projects get slow, and debugging through a browser tab is limiting compared to a real editor. For anything past a prototype, I'd move to Cursor or a local setup.
But most of what I build never needs to be big. The 80% that's a quick utility deserves a quick home, and Replit is that home.
Don't over-engineer the small stuff. The tool that lets you ship today beats the tool that's 'better' once you've already lost interest.
