What I would verify first: The people getting the best results feed the model a real brief: audience, constraint, what not to do. The people complaining feed it three words.
The evidence side: Treat the model like a smart junior who needs scope. Give it less wiggle room and the output stops reading like a committee wrote it.
It is a starting point, not a verdict.
