The Chatbots Fight Nobody Wins Cleanly: Bing AI (Copilot) vs Runway
Bing AI (Copilot) and Runway both claim the chatbots crown. Here is who actually wins, and why the marketing copy is half the story.

Bing AI
Free AI chat with web search access
Bing AI is a free AI chatbot integrated with search, allowing users to get real-time answers, summaries, and web-based insights.
Runway

Runway offers AI tools for video editing, generation, motion effects, and creative production workflows.
The honest comparison
Marketing told me both of these are the best. They can't both be right.
I put Bing AI (Copilot) and Runway through the same chatbots tasks last month instead of reading another ranked list.
On price, Bing AI (Copilot) is free if you live in Edge, while Runway asks $12 and burns credits fast. For someone who bills clients, that's the real decider.
Bing AI (Copilot) pulls live web results into the chat without a separate search tab. Runway eats credits so quickly the meter becomes the product - that gap showed up the moment I asked for the weird edge case.
Where they overlap, Bing AI (Copilot) pulls live web results into the chat without a separate search tab. Runway generates video clips with motion control that holds up. I kept both installed for a reason.
If you people who want answers and citations and refuse to pay, keep Bing AI (Copilot). If you filmmakers prototyping shots, Runway is the one. I landed on Runway after a week of switching back and forth.
If a blog tells you one is clearly better, check who pays them.
