Why I Stopped Writing 'AI-Powered' on My Landing Page

The phrase became a warning sign. Here's what I write instead, and why conversions went up.

For a year my product page led with 'AI-powered.' It tested terribly and I couldn't say why. Then a friend said it read like a sticker slapped on after the fact.

I rewrote it around the actual job: 'turns a PDF into a podcast in 20 minutes.' No mention of AI in the headline. Sign-ups rose, because people buy outcomes, not architecture.

AI is the engine, not the pitch. When the tool is the story, the customer has to imagine the benefit. When the outcome is the story, they don't.

Keep the model name in the docs where the curious will look. Put the result on the page where the buyer decides.
