Canva builds the deck you present. Otter writes down what was said in the meeting that produced the deck. I kept evaluating them as if one should win, then noticed the real value is the handoff: Otter's summary becomes the 'decisions' slide in Canva, and I stop retyping agreements from memory.

Canva has no ears. It'll layout anything you paste but it won't tell you what was decided. Otter has no design sense; its output is a searchable transcript, not a deliverable. So the pairing is structural, not competitive. One captures, one communicates.

I automated the boring middle: a Zap drops Otter's action items into a Canva template's text box, and I spend five minutes on layout instead of an hour. That's the entire integration, and it's the part of client work I used to dread most.
