I built a Canva video with text and no audio, then ran the script through ElevenLabs and dropped the voiceover back in. Suddenly a slide deck had a narrator. ElevenLabs didn't replace Canva; it finished it. And Canva didn't replace ElevenLabs; it gave the voice somewhere to live.
The only place they touch is that one workflow: Canva for the visuals, ElevenLabs for the read. Outside it, they're strangers. Canva can't synthesize speech worth hearing. ElevenLabs can't lay out a frame. Comparing them as if one should win ignores that the value is the seam.
