Midjourney vs Claude: I Asked the Writer to Draw and the Artist to Explain

I needed a hero image and a caption, so I asked Claude for the picture and Midjourney for the words. Both did the other's job badly, which is the point.

Claude can describe an image all day but can't render one you'd ship. Midjourney makes the picture but its 'explain this' text is vague poetry. Each is strong exactly where the other is silent.

The workflow that stuck: Midjourney for the visual, Claude for the copy around it, the title, the alt text, the line that makes the image make sense. Neither replaced the other; they handed off.

For a campaign, use both and stop expecting a single tool to be whole. The artist draws, the writer frames, and the person who thought one could do both just wasted a generation and a prompt.
