I Review Fireflies' Action Items Before Trusting Them
Fireflies drafts the to-dos from a call. Skimming them for the right owner takes ten seconds and saves a wrong assignment.
Fireflies pulls action items out of a call and emails them, which is the part I actually use. But the owner it assigns is a guess when two people spoke over each other, and I've seen it hand a task to the wrong person.
My habit is a ten-second scan before I forward the summary. If an item says 'you' when it was really the client, I fix it. The model hears intent, not responsibility, so the correction is mine to make.
It also occasionally invents a to-do that nobody said. One call ended with Fireflies listing 'send the contract' when we'd only discussed it. I delete those rather than let them become a forgotten obligation.
Used as a draft, not a verdict, Fireflies is a time-saver. The review step is small and keeps the shared notes honest, which is the only version a team will keep trusting.
