Kickresume Got Me Past the ATS Wall

I sent thirty resumes and heard nothing, then learned many never reached a human, they died in an ATS scanning for keywords. Kickresume's templates are built to survive that first machine pass.

I rebuilt my resume in one of its clean layouts and ran its checker, which flagged missing terms from the job posts I wanted. I added the honest ones, the skills I actually had, and the callback rate climbed.

The design helped too. Recruiters skim in seconds, and a readable, structured page beats a clever one. Kickresume's templates look like a person made them, which is the point.

I didn't use its AI to write the bullets, those read as generated and a human spots that fast. I wrote my own and used the tool for layout and keyword hygiene only.

If applications vanish into the void, fix the formatting and the keywords before the wording. The ATS filters before anyone admires your prose.
