Record and transcribe a phone call with Otter the sane way
Otter captures the words; you still owe the other person a heads-up and a quick cleanup.
Otter transcribes meetings and calls, which is gold for anyone who loses the thread mid-conversation. On a phone call you have one extra duty: tell the other person it is recorded.
Laws and courtesy both want disclosure first. Once that is handled, let Otter run and stay present instead of scribbling notes you will never read.
After the call, ask Otter for action items and then delete the small talk. A raw transcript is a liability; a three-line summary is a deliverable.
I rename the file with the date and the decision. An unnamed transcript in a sea of transcripts is the same as no transcript.
