A Zapier Loop That Sorts My Inbox So I Don't
Connect the apps, then add the failure path nobody mentions. Silent stops are the real bug.
I built a Zap that reads flagged mail, tags it by keyword, and logs it to a sheet. For two weeks it was magic. Then a token expired and the chain died without a sound.
The lesson: every Zap needs an error path. I added a step that posts to a Slack channel on failure, plus a daily row-count check. 'No news' is now suspicious, not reassuring.
Keep each Zap to one job. The tempting mega-Zap is the one that breaks and takes three workflows with it.
No-code removed the engineering, not the operations. Watch the thing you automated, or it fails quietly.
