Delegate the Draft, Not the Decision

The most productive use of AI I've found is narrow: let it draft, never let it decide. The draft is cheap to redo; the decision is the part that's actually yours.

I use it for first passes on email, outlines, and the boring assembly of a report. Then I make the calls, the tone, the claim, the 'send or not.' The model is fast where speed doesn't risk much.

Where people get burned is handing over the decision, letting the model pick the candidate, the investment, the reply that ends a relationship. That's the 10% that matters, and it's exactly where the model is weakest.

Draw the line before you start: what's a draft, what's a choice. Delegate the draft, guard the decision, and you get the speed without the regret. Most misuse is just a line drawn in the wrong place.
