Then I missed what Runway did quietly: it offers more models and more control than almost any rival. Notion AI is weak for long, autonomous tasks on its own, and that gap showed up daily, not once.
The real difference wasn't features on a page. It was which tool got out of my way. Runway did; Notion AI made me think about it more than I wanted.
I went back to Runway and kept Notion AI for the rare productivity task where it's clearly better. Both earned a spot; only one earned the default. Turns out the 'best' one is the one I actually opened the next day. That was the only real test.
