Comparatif d'outils IA
Notion AI Knows My Business. Zapier Does Something About It.
One tool answers questions about my workspace. The other moves the actual records. I ran both as an 'operating system' for a solo business and learned where the line is.

Le comparatif honnête
As a solo founder I wanted one AI layer over the whole business — Notion holds the knowledge, so why shouldn't Notion AI run the place? Three months of trying taught me the difference between a brain and a pair of hands.
Notion AI's superpower is proximity to context. Ask it which clients went quiet, it reads the workspace and tells you. Ask it to draft the renewal email, it uses the actual project history. As a thinking layer, nothing I've used beats having the model sitting inside the documents already.
But every answer ended at the same place: me, doing the thing. Notion AI can tell me a client went quiet; it can't move the deal stage, send the email, or create the follow-up task on a schedule. Zapier can't answer a single question about my business — and doesn't need to — because its whole job is the doing, on triggers, without me.
The stack that finally worked: Notion AI for the weekly review (what needs attention and why), Zapier for everything that happens the same way every time. When I catch myself asking Notion AI the same question twice, that's the signal to automate it in Zapier instead. Brain and hands. Trying to merge them cost me three months and gained me nothing.
