Tuning Prompt Weights in Leonardo AI So the Subject Isn't Optional

Add weight to the part you care about, nudge don't crank, and pair it with a fixed preset.

Early on, Leonardo ignored the part of my prompt I cared about and obsessed over the background. Adding weight to the subject, like 'red jacket :2,' forced it to prioritize what I actually wanted.

Weights aren't a volume knob you crank to ten. Too high and the image becomes a single loud element with no context. I nudge to 1.5 or 2 and generate a batch to see the range.

I pair weighting with a fixed preset so the style stays put while I tune the subject. Changing both at once tells you nothing about which lever did what.

The payoff is consistency across a set. Once the subject is reliably dominant, I can vary the scene without losing the hero, which is the difference between a moodboard and a product line.
