Tome's Viewer Analytics Told Me Exactly Which Slide Lost Them

Tome shows where viewers dropped off. I used it to cut the slide nobody finished.

I sent a Tome deck to a prospect and checked the viewer analytics later. Half of them never made it past slide four, the one where I'd buried the value in a paragraph. The data didn't guess; it showed the exit.

The useful view is time-on-slide versus slide order. Where the curve drops, that's your dead slide. Mine was a 'company history' page I'd included out of habit. Nobody reads company history in a sales deck, and the analytics proved it by the silence.

I moved the value prop to slide two and deleted the history page. Resent the link. Completion rate nearly doubled. The tool didn't write the deck; it told me which part to kill, which is the harder thing to know on your own.

If you share decks and never know if they're read, the analytics are the feedback you're missing. One look at the drop-off and the edit writes itself.
