Cursor's Agent Writes the PR Description I Always Skip

The agent can summarize the diff into a review-ready description. I stopped leaving 'fix stuff' as the message.

I ship code with commit messages like 'fix stuff' and PR descriptions like 'see diff.' Reviewers hate me. Cursor's agent reads the changes and writes a description that actually says what changed and why, in the voice of someone who understood the task.

The workflow: finish the change, ask the agent to draft the PR from the diff and the issue I was solving. It lists the behavior change, the files touched, and what to test. I trim the boilerplate and paste it. The reviewer now has context instead of a guessing game.

It's not perfect. Sometimes it describes intent the code doesn't quite deliver, so I read the description against the diff before posting. The agent writes; I confirm. That five-second check is the difference between helpful and misleading.

If your PR descriptions are an afterthought, let the agent take the first pass. You stay the editor. The description stops being the thing you skip and becomes the thing that gets your change merged faster.
