ElevenLabs Narrated My YouTube Script So I Didn't Have to Record at Midnight
The voice is good enough that viewers didn't notice. That's the bar.
I wrote a script, dropped it into ElevenLabs, and picked a voice that didn't sound like a car ad.
It paused in the right places because I added commas where a human would breathe. The model follows punctuation.
One sentence came out too smooth, so I split it and re-recorded just that line. You don't re-do the whole thing.
I kept a disclaimer in the description that the narration was synthetic. Honesty is cheap.
For a tutorial nobody hears closely, this saved me a recording session and the result cleared the 'good enough' line.
