Midjourney Mood Boards That Clients Actually Approve
Three coherent frames beat twenty random ones. Constrain the palette and the client stops guessing.
I needed a mood board for a brand pitch. Instead of generating twenty stray images, I locked one palette and one lighting style across three frames so they read as a set.
The client approved faster because the board looked intentional, not like a Pinterest dump. Midjourney's strength is consistency when you stop changing the prompt every time.
I used --cref to keep a character and --sref to keep a style, then varied only the scene. That kept the three images in the same world.
For client work, coherence sells the idea. Random variety just proves you can press a button.
