Remixing a Style You Like in Midjourney

When you find a look that works, stop starting from scratch. Change one variable at a time and keep a recipe file.

When I find a Midjourney image whose look I want, I don't start from scratch. I save the prompt and change only the subject, keeping the lighting and composition words that made it work.

The mistake is editing too much at once. Change the subject and the palette together and you can't tell which change broke the look. I change one variable, generate four, and only then touch the next.

I keep a tiny file of style recipes that worked: the exact phrase for a calm editorial shot, a moody product render, a flat icon set. Reusing a known recipe beats writing a new prompt from a blank box every time.

Midjourney also lets you vary a region, so I reroll just the background when the subject is right. That single feature saved me more generations than any prompt trick.
