Grammarly Fixed My Email Tone After I Almost Sent a Cold One

I ran a blunt email through Grammarly and it flagged three spots where my tone read as hostile. Softening those changed how the message would land without losing the point.

But the tone suggestions nag you to upgrade mid-sentence and once wanted me to say 'utilize.' I take the clarity fixes, ignore the upsell voice.

My rule: accept grammar and tone, reject the 'more persuasive' rewrites that flatten the person out of it.

Used as a proofreader, not a co-writer, it earns the subscription. Used as a voice, it makes you sound like everyone.
