Luma's camera motion presets: the difference between cinematic and silly

A slow dolly reads as intentional. A spin reads as a demo. Picking the move is most of the craft.

Luma turns an image into a moving shot, and the camera path decides whether it feels like a film or a screensaver.

I default to a slow push-in or a gentle orbit. Both imply the viewer is looking at something worth approaching. Fast rotations and zooms signal 'look what the AI can do' and undercut the subject.

Match the move to the asset. A product render wants a slow turntable; a landscape wants a drift. Forcing a dramatic move on a calm scene just looks nervous.

Render two versions with different speeds and pick the calmer one. Almost always the calmer one survives the client review.
