Runway Let Me Stretch a Three-Second Clip Into Ten Without a Visible Cut
The extend tool is magic until the face moves. Here's how I hid that.
I had a great three-second shot that was too short to use. Runway's extend gave me ten.
The first extension jumped when the subject's face shifted, so I masked the face and extended the background.
I kept the camera slow. Fast motion is where the model shows its seams.
Credits drained quicker than I expected, so I rendered the good take last.
For a social cut it passed. For a hero film I'd still shoot more coverage.
