Runway Made a Product Demo Loop I Couldn't Shoot With a Camera

I had a product that didn't exist as a physical sample yet and a launch date that didn't care. Runway generated the hero shot from a description and a couple of reference images.

The inpainting and motion tools let me keep the product stable across the loop, which is the hard part, most generators drift the subject every frame. Runway held it well enough to use.

I fought it on the details, a reflection that looked wrong, a material that read as plastic, and each fix was a prompt and a regen. Twenty minutes of iterating beat a shoot that couldn't happen.

For a demo of something unrealized, Runway is the only honest option. For a real object on a table, a phone camera still wins. I used the generator because the camera had nothing to point at.
