Vergelijking van AI-tools
I Ran Perplexity and Pictory for a Week. One Earned the Spot.
Perplexity shows its sources inline so you can check the claim now, but Pictory picks the dullest 30 seconds as the hook. I picked by the work, not the hype.

De eerlijke vergelijking
I don't believe the landing page. Here's what happened when I actually used it. I came to Perplexity because shows its sources inline so you can check the claim now. That part delivered.
Under the hood, Pictory chops a webinar into shorts with captions already on. highlighted the intro music
Neither is clean. Perplexity the 'pro' models wander off topic on a follow-up. Pictory picks the dullest 30 seconds as the hook. You feel both within a day.
My call: Pictory for 'recycling long video into clips' -- it's the one I trust there. Perplexity takes 'research questions with citations', where its quirk matters less. Plenty of people flip this; I didn't, because the failure mode of Perplexity costs me more.
Would I pay again? For this one case, yes.
