If I have to do something twice, I'll measure it, so here's the comparison that actually matters. I ran Midjourney and Fireflies on the same batch of image prompts.

About Midjourney: Midjourney is still the image model people point to for beauty. its default aesthetic is the one clients recognize and ask for by name. Midjourney shipped a thumbnail in five minutes that I'd have outsourced for a day.

About Fireflies: Fireflies is a meeting bot that joins calls and writes the notes. it captures action items without anyone remembering to hit record. Fireflies had the action items in my inbox before the call ended; I trusted two and fixed one.

there's no real editor, so every fix means a new prompt and another wait. the summaries are generic and you end up rewriting the important parts. Neither is magic, and the gap between the demo and your actual workflow is where most of these comparisons fall apart.

Midjourney for the visual you'd otherwise brief a designer for; Fireflies for the notes you'd otherwise type. Pick Midjourney when the asset is an image and a generic stock photo won't do. Pick Fireflies when the asset is a meeting record and nobody wants to write it.
