Gemini vs Tome: My Files vs a Pretty Scroll, and the Files Won

I'm lazy about decks and hoped Tome's scroll would save me the writing. It saved the layout and skipped the thinking, which is the part I actually needed.

Tome is gorgeous and hollow until you feed it substance. Gemini, because it reads my Drive, could pull the actual project facts and draft from them. Tome just arranges whatever I hand it.

So I reversed the order: Gemini drafts from my real documents, Tome presents the result. The scroll looks good, but the content isn't invented, it's extracted, which matters when someone asks a follow-up.

If you have nothing to say, Tome makes a pretty nothing. If you have messy files, Gemini turns them into something sayable, then Tome makes it scrollable. The files beat the facade, every time.
