Canva Quietly Beat Fireflies on the Thing I Actually Measure

I wanted to stop doing this by hand and wired up both to try. The task was ordinary: something a person does twice a week and hates.

Canva's edge is simple: templates for everything from a tweet graphic to a 40-page deck, and the Magic tools fill gaps

Fireflies, by contrast, sits in your calls and hands you a searchable transcript plus action items

The workflow I landed on Fireflies — sits in your calls and hands you a searchable transcript plus action items. If you live in that workflow, keep Fireflies. But if the daily grind is your real bottleneck, Canva is the calmer pick.

The honest part: the summary misses nuance, and it tags the wrong person as owner half the time. fine control fights you; it wants you to stay inside its template rails. I'd still keep both installed; they fight different battles.
