AI 工具对比
Runway Animates. Otter Transcribes. I Use Both and They've Never Met in a Workflow.
One makes stills move; the other makes speech text. The fact that people ask which to pick says more about tool fatigue than about the tools.

真实对比
Runway turns a product photo into a three-second orbit that implies craft. Otter turns a call into a searchable transcript I can quote later. The only place they'd meet is a video where I caption the spoken part, and even then they're separate steps with a paste between them.
I've never faced a task where I'd choose one over the other. If I need motion, Runway. If I need a record of what was said, Otter. The question 'Runway or Otter' has no answer because it has no shared task.
Both earn their subscription by doing one thing I'd otherwise pay a human for. That they sit in different parts of my stack is the point, not a problem to reconcile.
Verdict: Runway for motion, Otter for memory. Different jobs, same budget, no overlap, and the comparison collapses the moment you sort by task.
