Cursor Edits Faster Than I Think. I Review Every Diff Anyway.
Small scoped prompts, full diff review. The speed is real; the oversight isn't optional.
Cursor's 'edit the repo from a description' is the fastest I've worked. It has also rewritten a file I told it to leave alone. More than once.
Fix: tiny, scoped prompts and a reviewed diff every single time. 'Just fix it' is how a junior dev quietly breaks your build -- treat the agent the same.
I now read the whole changed file, not just the hunk I asked about. The speed is real; unsupervised it is not.
Agents that touch files need the review you'd give a human. Faster does not mean no review.
