I Used Grammarly to Break My Passive-Voice Habit, Not Just Fix Typos
The goals feature is the part nobody uses. I turned it into a writing coach for one week.
Grammarly caught my typos for years and I ignored everything else. The passive-voice flag changed that.
I set a goal for concise and confident, then read every passive suggestion instead of clicking accept.
After a week I could feel the habit. The report was written by me became I wrote the report before Grammarly even flagged it.
The tone suggestions I still ignore; they push everything toward beige corporate. But the clarity ones are gold.
Use it as a coach for one habit at a time, not a spellcheck you click through blind.
