Grammarly Turned My Mushy Resume Bullet Into One a Hiring Manager Would Read
It cut the filler and kept the result. The weak verb was the real problem.
My bullet said 'was responsible for improving the dashboard.' Grammarly flagged it as passive and vague.
Its rewrites were sharper, but one flattened my voice into corporate mush, so I kept my wording and just dropped the fluff.
The tool is a second reader, not the writer. I accept the trim, reject the tone shift.
I ran it last, after the thinking, not while drafting. Editing and writing are different muscles.
The final bullet said what I did and why it mattered. That's the only version worth sending.
