I Mocked Up Product Packaging in Midjourney Before Paying a Designer

Before briefing a designer I generated ten packaging directions in Midjourney so the team could point at one.

I described the box shape, the shelf context, and the one color we already owned, then let it vary the rest.

It can't render the brand name cleanly, so I kept text out and added it later in Canva.

The exercise killed three directions in five minutes that would have cost a week of back-and-forth.

Use it to decide, not to deliver. The designer thanked me for arriving with a target instead of a shrug.
