Tome Let Me Pitch With a Live Prototype Inside the Deck
A deck that runs the product beats a deck that describes it. I learned that in one room.
I embedded a working prototype into a Tome instead of screenshots. The client clicked it live.
Live embeds keep the story moving; static decks invite questions you could have shown.
I kept the Tome short. Long ones get unwieldy to edit and the novelty wears off.
The export to PDF is fine for the record, but the live version is the one I present.
Use Tome when wow matters in the room. Use a plain deck when it doesn't.
