ElevenLabs closed a $300M tender at a $22B valuation, double its February number. The detail that matters: ElevenAgents is now over half of revenue. A company everyone still calls a voice generator is mostly an agent company wearing the old label.
That's the quiet pivot of the year. The voice was the wedge, the thing that got users in. The money is the agent that uses the voice to do a call, a follow-up, a reminder. The name lags the business by a year.
It also explains the valuation. Investors price the agent surface, not the API that reads a sentence. If you're building with ElevenLabs, the interesting question isn't 'how real does the voice sound' but 'what can the agent do while sounding like that.'
