I Used ChatGPT as a Therapist for a Week. It Helped, With a Hard Limit.
Great for sorting thoughts, useless for the part that needs a person.
I offloaded the week's noise into a chat and asked it to reflect patterns back at me. That part worked.
It stayed patient and non-judgmental in a way a tired friend can't always manage at 11pm.
What it couldn't do was sit with anything real. Patterns, yes; presence, no.
I'd treat it like a journal that talks back, not a replacement for help when things get heavy.
Useful as a thinking aid, dangerous as a stand-in. I kept the line clear.
