Why Notion AI Finally Clicked Once I Stopped Treating It Like a Chatbot
I kept forcing Notion AI to be ChatGPT, and it was bad at it. The moment I treated it as a thing that lives inside my notes, it got useful.

Summarize a page, draft from the meeting notes already in the workspace, rewrite a paragraph without leaving the doc. The context is the feature, not the model.
It's only as good as the notes you keep. A messy workspace gives it messy material, and then you blame the tool.
For general chat I still go elsewhere. But for 'turn my scattered notes into something I can send,' it's the right shape of tool.
The lesson is broader: most AI features fail because we use them like the last AI tool we liked. Match the tool to where the work already lives.
