Il confronto onesto
I'm freelance, so every hour the tool saves is a hour I can bill. I came to Notion AI because summarizes the meeting notes already sitting in your workspace. That part delivered.
Where it slowed me down, Elicit surfaces the actual studies behind a claim with one query. missed a key negative result
Neither is clean. Notion AI trips over its own 10-block limit on big pages. Elicit skips the grey literature and conference posters. You feel both within a day.
My call: if your work is 'teams living in Notion already', Notion AI wins and I'd stop looking. Elicit fits 'researchers checking if a finding holds up' better, and I'd hand it the repetitive jobs. I use both, but Notion AI gets the serious sessions.
Not perfect, but cheaper than another late night.
