I expected Notion AI and ChatGPT to overlap and one to win. They didn't, because Notion AI works on the document in front of me and ChatGPT works on the idea in my head. Summarize this page? Notion, one keystroke, no copy-paste. Brainstorm the page I haven't written? ChatGPT, in a tab.
The friction Notion AI removes is context-switching. It already sees my meeting notes, so 'draft follow-ups from this' is instant and accurate. ChatGPT would need me to paste them, and pasting is where details leak. For anything in-the-notebook, Notion is simply closer.
