Cursor Edits Across Files, but I Learned to Read the Diff First

Cursor applied a change across four files from one instruction. The diff view is where I stay safe.

I read every changed line before accepting. Once it rewrote a function I relied on elsewhere.

For big refactors I ask it to plan first, then apply. The plan step catches half my bad instructions.
