I Fill a Weekly Newsletter by Following Perplexity's Rabbit Holes
Perplexity's related questions are a content engine if you stop treating them as footnotes.
Every Perplexity answer ends with a row of related questions. I used to ignore them. Now they're my newsletter pipeline. I ask one question about my niche, click the three most interesting related threads, and by the fourth hop I have a week of angles nobody else is covering the same way.
The trick is to start broad and let the tool narrow. 'What changed in small-business AI this month' becomes 'which SaaS added an agent feature' becomes 'why that feature quietly matters.' Each hop is a section. The voice stays mine because I'm choosing the path, not the words.
I write the draft myself and use Perplexity only to confirm facts and dates before I publish. The search tool finds; I decide. That split keeps the newsletter from reading like a machine and keeps me from shipping a wrong date to a few thousand people.
If you publish regularly and dread the blank topic list, spend twenty minutes a week in the related-question trail. It's the cheapest idea source I've found, and it beats staring at a competitor's feed.
