Runway Filled a Shot I Couldn't Reshoot

Gen-3 extends footage. The credits drain on upscales you didn't mean to do.

A client needed a B-roll shot we never filmed. Runway's Gen-3 generated a close match from a still and a short prompt, saving a reshoot.

The trap is credits: the auto-upscale to 4K eats tokens you didn't approve. I now export at the size I need and upscale only the hero clip.

Keep the generated shot short and cut it tight; longer clips forget the subject and drift.

Use it to fix holes in footage, not to generate a whole video. A patched gap beats a synthetic whole.
